Children's Trunk Show, the Distillery, Nov. 9 and 10
Finally, a place for you, your gigantic stroller and your kids to zip about in hassle-free. The Children's Trunk Show is on Nov. 9 and 10 at the Distillery District (for exact location, see childrenstrunkshow.com). More than 80 vendors will showcase tyke-terrific goods, including clothing, food, art, furniture and accessories. Look out for A List's lovely contemporary furniture; Wendy Tancock's plucky porcelain, pictured, and silly (in a good way) aprons; fun animal art by Tulips & Sunflowers; pint-size monogrammed towels and the like from Muskoka Bedding; cozy stuff care of Sweet Memories Quilts; whimsical photo albums from Paper Chic; and Muffin Mat, a cushy floor cover for the baby that's in the crawl-in-a-wobbly-fashion-all-over-the-floor stage.
